He struggled in 70 big league at bats this year, but did hit .289 with 20 HR through 89 AAA games.
After several years in the minor leagues, Robertson finally made his major league debut earlier this season, when they Jays selected him for their 40 man roster back in June.
In three games for Toronto, he went 1-10 with one RBI and one walk.
Robertson had some success down the stretch
While his first stint with the south-siders was uneventful, going 0-6 with four strikeouts over two games, Robertson garnered semi-regular playing time when he was called back up in late August.
During his second go-round, the native of Westphalia, Missouri made 13 starts, while appearing twice as a pinch hitter. He recorded seven hits across 44 at-bats.
While Robertson has shown some promise as a defender and has shown power in the minor leagues, he will need to cut down on his strike outs if he hopes to garner a regular role in 2026 and beyond.
