Former Toronto Blue Jays infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa is drawing interest from multiple teams.

According to a report from FanSided's Robert Murray, free agent infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa has held multiple virtual meetings with interested clubs over the past few days.
While Murray did not identify which teams are involved, it's safe to assume the Toronto Blue Jays are not among them.
Toronto's infield depth chart is already packed following the free-agent signing of Kazuma Okamoto, leaving little room for another versatile infielder.
With Andrés Giménez shifting to shortstop after Bo Bichette's departure and postseason standout Ernie Clement projected to handle second base, the Blue Jays appear set up the middle.
When factoring in utility options Addison Barger and Davis Schneider, there's simply no clear path for Kiner-Falefa to crack the active roster.

Kiner-Falefa likely to land a two-year contract with similar value to 2025

Kiner-Falefa joined Toronto via waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates-the same organization that had acquired him from the Jays at the 2024 trade deadline.
During his time in Toronto, he posted a 72 wRC+ while seeing action at second base, third base, and shortstop.
Unfortunately, his tenure with the club is most remembered for a heartbreaking moment in Game 7 of the World Series, when he was thrown out just steps short of home plate in the bottom of the ninth inning.
That play capped off a difficult postseason, as he slashed just .162/.184/.216 across October.
Across 138 games last season split between Pittsburgh and Toronto, Kiner-Falefa hit .262/.297/.334 with a .631 OPS, two home runs, and 40 RBIs.
Although he'll turn 31 shortly before Opening Day, Kiner-Falefa remains a candidate to land a MLB contract before then, likely at a value similar to the $7.5 million salary he earned last season.
