Latest injury update on Blue Jays centerfielder Daulton Varsho

Toronto Blue Jays centerfielder Daulton Varsho is on the mend and playing in games in Florida. According to MLB.com's Keegan Matheson Varsho is on track to throw from the outfield to the bases later this week, which is a big step they've been building towards. Consider it normal "game" throwing. The Blue Jays still aiming to have him back by the end of the month.
Varsho has already made significant progress as he has played in games as a DH and has been hitting surprisingly well but it looks like he is not ready to enter a game defensively just yet.
Sportsnet's Shi Davidi says that Varsho playing catch up to 150-165 feet. Still playing in games but not throwing from the outfield yet.
Hazel Mae reiterated what the aforementioned Shi Davidi had to say about Varsho.
If Varsho continues to make steady progress in his recovery, there's a very good chance he'll be back in action by the end of April.
When he does return Nathan Lukes or Davis Schneider will most likely be sent down to AAA Buffalo.

It may be time for Davis Schneider to rediscover his form back in Buffalo. He has had a significant amount of time with Toronto to figure it out and he just hasn't.
Myles Straw has been filling in nicely for Varsho so far in the field and at the plate. Straw is 7 for 20 so far in limited at bats off the bench batting .350 with an OPS of .831.
With the help of newly hired outfield coach Kevin Kiermaier, Daulton Varsho should be back very soon. Most likely by the end of April.
