MLB insider says Blue Jays should keep Bo Bichette off World Series roster

The
Blue Jays shortstop, sideline since the beginning of September with a knee issue, indicated that he was healthy enough to play in the World Series. For MLB Catcher-turned-broadcaster
AJ Pierzynski, he's not even sure that Toronto should entertain that idea.
The two-time All-Star and longtime
Chicago White Sox, who now co-hosts the Foul Territory Podcast, believes that, due to the team reaching the World Series, the Blue Jays should with what they already have.
Hall of Pretty Gooder AJ Pierzynski with a Hall of Very Bad take
«As much as I think Bo's an awesome player, right now, I think you just say, look, man, I'm sorry, we're rolling with what we got.»
While Pierzynski's comments aren't said with any malice, and have a certain logic attached to them, it's hard to imagine this team taking on Goliath without one of the players that got them here, even if he isn't 100%.
Even if Bichette is rostered, he might not be able to play the field, which complicate playing time for someone like
Nathan Lukes or
Addison Barger.
Blue Jays likely to tweak roster ahead of Game 1 of World Series
It's clear that Bo wants to play. Of course he does, it's the World Series.
In the most recent update, Bichette has been increasing his running drills, but still isn't 100% pain-free.
Still, the Blue Jays might decide that Bo Bichette at 90% is better than no Bo at all.
Either way, John Schneider will have some tough decisions to make.
