Should the Blue Jays trade for a left fielder?

While the Blue Jays have made some tweaks to their roster already this season, including adding pitchers Spencer Turnbull and Jose Urena, they have yet to make any noise via trade. It could happen soon, and Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter thinks it will be for a corner outfielder.
The Blue Jays have already had seven different players make at least one start in left field this season. Alan Roden has actually gotten the most playing time there, but he's currently in Triple-A. Anthony Santander has also played a bunch, but he's becoming more of a full-time DH. Nathan Lukes and Myles Straw are capable, but aren't yet everyday players. This is a position where the Blue Jays could add from the outside.
According to Reuter, the most intriguing option for the Blue Jays is
Taylor Ward of the
Los Angeles Angels. Although his offensive numbers are down - he is batting just .186. - he does have ten home runs.
The Angels could do it too. According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, Los Angeles were open to dealing Ward last season. While nothing ultimately came of it at the deadline, Reuter says it might be easier for the Angels to do so this year.
Tyler Anderson, Taylor Ward, and Luis Rengifo were all popular names on the rumor mill last summer, and all three are potential trade candidates once again this year after staying put.
While there has been no indication that the Blue Jays are interested in Ward, a trade could be made if the Jays were to deal from a position of strength and send a middle infielder LA's way.
Of course, this only happens if the Blue Jays become buyers. With the way the season is going, that isn't a sure thing.
