Baseball America's 2026 Top 100 prospect list was released on Wednesday and three Toronto Blue Jays ranked high on it
The Toronto Blue Jays' farm system made noticeable progress in 2025, as several prospects took meaningful steps toward becoming future contributors at the major-league level.
Leading the charge is rookie sensation Trey Yesavage, whose rapid ascent carried him from Class-A Dunedin all the way to postseason stardom.
Despite his late-season emergence, the right-hander remains both prospect-eligible and a candidate for the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year.
That breakout season earned league-wide recognition on Wednesday, when Baseball America placed three Blue Jays on its Top 100 Prospects list.
Yesavage cracked the top 10 at No. 10 overall, while shortstops Arjun Nimmala and JoJo Parker followed at Nos. 62 and 66.
The showing marks a significant jump from a year ago, when left-hander Ricky Tiedemann was Toronto's lone representative, barely sneaking in at No. 100.
Blue Jays farm system improving every year
Yesavage's journey through each of the organization's full-season affiliates culminated in a late-September call-up and a starring role in the playoffs, firmly positioning him as a potential rotation mainstay in 2026.
Because his promotion came so late in the year, the 22-year-old did not accumulate enough service time to shed his prospect status.
His minor-league performance alone was eye-popping. Across 25 appearances, Yesavage logged 160 strikeouts in just 98 innings while posting a 3.12 ERA.
What truly separates him, however, is his success under the brightest lights.
In 27.2 postseason innings, he recorded a 3.58 ERA and struck out 39 batters, a résumé that should keep him near the top of prospect rankings until he officially graduates.

Arjun Nimmala also earned his place on the list following a scorching start with High-A Vancouver.
From Opening Day through June 16, the 2023 first-round pick produced an .846 OPS with 12 home runs, while showing encouraging improvements in his strikeout rate and swing-and-miss tendencies.
The second half of the season proved more challenging, as Nimmala finished with a .694 OPS and 13 home runs overall.
Still, the 20-year-old's athleticism, raw power and long-term upside were enough to secure his spot among baseball's top prospects, and also an invite to 2026 Spring Training.
Rounding out Toronto's trio is JoJo Parker, 19, the club's first-round selection in last summer's draft.
The Blue Jays used the eighth overall pick on the Purvis High School infielder, drawn by his polished offensive profile.
During his senior season, Parker hit .489 with 13 home runs and was named Gatorade Mississippi Baseball Player of the Year.
According to Baseball America, Parker «projects as an above-average regular at third base with all-star upside,» a lofty assessment that underscores Toronto's growing optimism about its pipeline.
