Toronto Blue Jays make roster move following finale with Tampa Bay Rays

The left-hander cleared outright waivers on Thursday and has been reassigned to triple-A Buffalo, the Blue Jays announced.

When Borucki was designated for assignment he told the club his preference is to remain with the organization, per manager John Schneider
Blue Jays announce Ryan Borucki cleared waivers and has been assigned to AAA. The team and Borucki both hoped this would be the result.
In four games during his second stint with the Blue Jays, the lefty has blanked opponents through 4.1 innings, striking out five while allowing three hits and four walks.
Borucki tossed 1.2 scoreless innings for the Bisons this season, issuing one walk and one hit-by-pitch.
Assuming he remains in the minors for the rest of the season, the southpaw will finish 2025 with a 4.63 ERA and 1.29 WHIP through 35 innings in the big leagues.
