Toronto Blue Jays tender contracts to four unsigned arbitration-eligible players

As expected the Toronto Blue Jays tendered contracts to all unsigned arbitration-eligible players at todays deadline.
If clubs tendered their contracts, they are able to negotiate contracts with the players through Jan. 9.
If they don't come to terms on a deal, they will be scheduled for an arbitration date to decide their 2026 contracts.
The Blue Jays tendered contracts to each of its four unsigned arbitration-eligible players on Friday, preventing them from hitting free agency.
The four players are Daulton Varsho, Ernie Clement, Tyler Heineman and Eric Lauer.
Blue Jays confirm that all eligible players have been tendered contracts for the 2026 season. That includes arb eligible guys like Daulton Varsho, Eric Lauer, Ernie Clement and Tyler Heineman.
Blue Jays who were tendered contracts are projected to make the following in arbitration:
Dillon Tate,
Nick Sandlin and
Ryan Burr also entered the off-season eligible for arbitration. But the Blue Jays cut ties with all three, and they are currently free agents.
Last season, the Blue Jays came to terms with each of their players and avoided going to any arbitration hearings.
