Free agent Kyle Tucker has a three-year offer on the table from the New York Mets and is reportedly nearing a decision.

According to Will Sammon of The Athletic, star outfielder Kyle Tucker could make a decision on his next team as soon as this week.
Tucker has a three-year offer in the range of $120-$140 million on the table from the New York Mets, per Sammon.
The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported on the Foul Territory Podcast, that Tucker's market is active between the Blue Jays, Dodgers and Mets. He also indicated that a decision could come as early as next week.
Kyle Tucker's market is active, says Ken Rosenthal. "I would not be surprised if it were this week, next week, sometime soon." 👀
MLB insider Robert Murray reported that the Mets also made a short-term offer worth $50 million per season.
Sources: The Mets have offered $50 million per season on a short-term contract to Kyle Tucker.

Mets offer to Kyle Tucker could prompt the Blue Jays to double down

It's unknown what the Blue Jays are willing to offer Tucker but he remains unsigned into mid-January, meaning he hasn't yet received an offer compelling enough for him to have put pen to paper.
It's been speculated that the Blue Jays would be more willing to go a long-term deal.
The Blue Jays recently signed Kazuma Okamoto but it was reported a week ago that they are still pursuing Tucker even after landing Okamoto.
The Blue Jays have been one of the more aggressive pursuers of Tucker, who is widely viewed as the top free agent position player available this winter.
They also have a lot of money coming off the books after 2026, as George Springer, Kevin Gausman, Shane Bieber, Yimi Garcia, Daulton Varsho and Eric Lauer are impending free agents.
Myles Straw would also depart if his club option is turned down and José Berrios can opt out of his deal.
That could prompt the Blue Jays to be doubly aggressive now, while they still have all of that talent on the roster.
Tucker, who turns 29 on Saturday, combines speed and power into a formidable offensive profile. With the Chicago Cubs last season, he hit 22 home runs with an .841 OPS and 25 stolen bases.
