Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman has extolled his love of Canadian things before. He's added another one to the list.

The Blue Jays veteran has, in the past, talked Toronto, Canada in general, and his love of cultural things like food. Now, he is stretching his love and knowledge beyond the borders of Ontario.
Given the spraying of beer and champagne in the clubhouse following their clinching a playoff berth, many wondered what kind of beer might be stocked in a Canadian team's clubhouse.
B.C.'s own Kokanee
Gausman's admiration for the beer with the "glacier fresh taste" comes from his brother Brian, who spent a few years playing in Kelowna. The Brewery is headquartered in nearby Creston, BC.

While playing for the Falcons in 2006, the elder Gausman brother acquired an affinity for one of the country's most famous and iconic lagers; a love he passed down to his younger sibling.

Set to make his 31st start, Gausman focused on challenge ahead

This current group of Blue Jays is well-known has been a very tight-knit group, and Gausman, and his love and embrace of all things Canadian, is a big reason why.
But it's exciting just because of the guys we have. This team has been just so much fun. I mean 2021 was kind of the same way when I was (with the San Francisco Giants) and we won 108 games and it was a lot of no-name guys. But also superstars that kind of had resurgent years.

Perhaps the Blue Jays ace can get a sponsorship deal with the "beer out here"
