Toronto Blue Jays Starting Lineup

Starting pitcher overview

With the return of Trey Yesavage, the Blue Jays announced that Patrick Corbin will remain in the rotation nudging Eric Lauer to long man duties out of the pen.
In his last outing Corbin did not factor into the decision against the Angels, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out three across five innings.
Corbin generated just three whiffs among his 65 pitches (40 strikes), with his lone blemish coming on a Vaughn Grissom sacrifice fly in the fifth.
After giving up four runs in his 2026 debut against the Twins on April 10, Corbin has yielded just two runs over his last two outings and sits at a 3.68 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over 14.2 innings.
The veteran southpaw has filled in admirably in the Blue Jays rotation in the absence of Trey Yesavage (shoulder), Jose Berrios (elbow), Cody Ponce (knee) and Shane Bieber (elbow).
Meanwhile, the Guards will counter with Slade Cecconi (0-3).
In his last outing Cecconi got rocked, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out two while taking the loss against the Astros
Most of the damage to Cecconi was done in the fourth inning, when Houston plated four runs on five hits (one home run).
The right-hander was hit around for double-digit knocks for the fourth time in his career, and he also fanned a season-low two.
Cecconi has a 6.20 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 20:12 K:BB over 24.2 innings.
Last 10 games: Blue Jays: 4-6, .287 batting average, 4.21 ERA, outscored by eight runs.
