Spencer Horwitz is getting into card collecting. The sport is baseball and the card was his own.

A post to his personal story on instagram revealed that he had traded a game-used bat in order to acquire his own rookie card.
After earlier spotting it online, he posted a comment saying that he was trying to collect his own cards for his personal collection.
The terms and conditions were accepted, and a deal was done.

Horwitz, who was traded to the Guardians and the Pirates in December, was set to open the season with a shot at winning the everyday first base job with Pittsburgh before a wrist injury got in the way.
While Horwitz just had sutures removed and was seen throwing a baseball.
Horwitz's expected timeline for recovery is six to eight weeks, confirming that Horwitz will miss at least some time to start the season.
Collecting baseball cards is a pastime as old as the game itself. Earlier this offseason, the baseball was sent into a frenzy when a rare Paul Skenes rookie card was found.
Even after offer from Skenes, Livvy Dunne, and the Pirates organization, the 11 year-old would-be seller decided to decline their terms and take it to auction instead.
While Spencer's card won't get the same love, it's good to see a friendly exchange being made.
No word on just how many cards of himself Spencer Horwitz has obtained.
