Four Toronto Blue Jays executives and six staff members made the cut on Toronto Life magazines top 50 influential Torontonians for 2025.

Toronto Life magazine released it's annual Top 50 list of most influential Torontonians on Friday and it was littered with Toronto Blue Jays influence.
Number 2 on the list was the team itself for uniting a city and country eager for a World Series win against America's All-Star team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

While they didn't end up with the Commissioners trophy, the Blue Jays won the hearts of sports fans old and new.
Number 5 on the list were Rogers CEO and owner of the Toronto Blue Jays Edward Rogers, along with Executive Chairman Tony Staffieri for basically ruling Toronto sports and telecom.
Number 21 on the list were Toronto Blue Jays President Mark Shapiro and General Manager Ross Atkins for being architects of a rejuvenated Rogers Centre and a team that united a country with a postseason run that baseball fans won't soon forget.

Supporting Cast and Honorable Mentions

John Schneider: Having come up through the organization alongside Vladdy and Bo, he knows how his players tick.
His «Start spreading the news, bitches!» ALDS victory howl should be a Canadian Heritage Minute.
"All you motherf***ers, it takes everybody everyday. Start spreading the news, bitches, we're going to the ALCS"!
Don Mattingly: An iconic former player and MVP whose experience and wise counsel proved invaluable to Schneider on the bench.
His gravitas and intimidating posture didn't hurt either. After the World Series, he stepped down (amicably) from his position and will likely get scooped up by anther team in the offseason.
The most touching moment following the Blue Jays loss in Game 7 was Bo Bichette giving Don Mattingly a hug. It brought tears. Mattingly deserves a World Series.
Pete Walker: The organization's biker-'stached secret weapon. Walker's ability to transform mediocre pitchers into all-stars has earned him a reputation around the league as a miracle worker.
Buck Martinez and Dan Shulman: The fan favorite (Buck) and the best baritone in baseball (Dan), respectively, guided the Jays faithful through a wild season with characteristic smarts, professionalism and a flair for the dramatic.
Buck Martinez is a legend. "I'd say what were you drinking?"
Hazel Mae: Mae has earned the players' trust over years spent around the team. Instead of prefab soundbites, they give her real talk, both in her interviews and during Gatorade-soaked post-game dispatches.
The 50 most influential Torontonians of 2025. Congratulations to Edward Rogers, Tony Staffieri, Mark Shapiro, Ross Atkins and the 2025 Toronto @BlueJays for making the cut. Thank you for including our @Sportsnet broadcast team as part of supporting staff.
