Why Kyle Tucker is a perfect fit for the Blue Jays

Former Reds, Nationals general manager Jim Bowden who is now an MLB insider and columnist for the Athletic joined the Foul Territory Podcast to express the level of interest and fit for Tucker on the Blue Jays.
"In terms of teams where he fits, he fits with the Blue Jays, put him in right field, he fits exactly what they like. 30 homers, 30 steals, plus defense, plus runner, plus arm, and he doesn't have to be the face of the franchise that's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. I think it's a really good fit. And I hear that their [Blue Jays] really interested in him."
Tucker's desire to win will be a guiding principle in his decision, coupled with the Blue Jays wanting a big left-handed bat to complement to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. makes this a good fit for both sides.
The Blue Jays have the financial resources to sign both Bichette and Tucker, which will surely factor in either or free agents decision as they both want to win at this juncture of their careers.
The Blue Jays and Tucker are both big on clubhouse culture. Tucker has proven to be a great teammate and the Blue Jays provide a clubhouse culture that is the envy of the league.
Tucker, 28, is a four-time All-Star who broke out with the Astros back in 2021, and since then he's hit a sensational .277/.365/.514 (143 wRC+) across five seasons of work.
