Myles Straw's cryptic deleted Kyle Tucker post has Toronto Blue Jays fans spiraling.
It was reported on Wednesday that the New York York Mets offered Kyle Tucker a $50 million AVV short-term deal, and that the Blue Jays have a long-term contract on the table.
Blue Jays outfielder Myles Straw poured fuel on the fire on Wednesday morning, posting a Tucker jersey to his Instagram story before quickly deleting it.
That sent Blue Jays fans into a frenzy, as they wondered if Straw potentially leaked that the Jays had won the sweepstakes for the 29-year old free agent.
Apparently Myles Straw posted a pic of a Kyle Tucker signed jersey on IG today and deleted it shortly after posting
Not the first time Straw and Blue Jays teammates have tried to recruit Tucker
Back in November, Straw hilariously tried to recruit Tucker on Instagram by offering his baby sitting services if he comes to Toronto.
Then in December, Straw and teammate Tyler Heineman tried to coax Tucker into playing a round of Golf at TPC Toronto.
A week ago, George Springer was spotted alongside Kyle Tucker at a TGL match between Atlanta and The Bay on Tuesday night in Palm Springs, Fla.
That definitely made Blue Jays fans wonder how hard Tucker's former teammates are trying to make him a current one again.
With each passing minute that Tucker remains unsigned, the stress level of Blue Jays fans will continue to rise.
For every Toronto baseball fan's sake, let's hope that the news comes sooner rather than later.
