After defeating the New York Yankees in four games, the Toronto Blue Jays are finally starting to get noticed. Beating the most famous team on their home turf will do that. It's belated, but it's starting to happen.
It's not just the media either. Oddsmakers and betting sites have also updated accordingly.
The Blue Jays now have the second-best odds at winning the 2025 World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers are still the favourites to repeat after they emerged victorious in their NLDS series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

It's largely thanks to their offence that the Blue Jays are in this position. At the beginning of the playoffs, the Blue Jays were listed anywhere from having the fourth best to sixth-best odds to win the series, depending on the oddsmakers..
