Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Bowden Francis may be back in time for the postseason
Bowden Francis (shoulder) was up to 93-mph and felt good while throwing an inning against live hitters at Blue Jays complex in Dunedin on Saturday. He'll throw live again on Friday as he continues to rebuild volume.
Francis touched 93 miles per hour with his fastball during the last session and will face hitters again Friday and he continues to get built back up.
If Francis continue to progress at this rate, it looks like he could be a late depth addition for the Blue Jays bullpen in the playoffs.
Assuming no setbacks, Bowden Francis is going to pitch for this team in the post-season at some point this year
Adding Francis could be great for the Blue Jays bullpen in the postseason, but it all depends on which version of Francis they end up getting.
