While the fall classic has only just begun - Game 1 featured a decisive victory by the Toronto Blue Jays over the Los Angeles Dodgers - Kennedy and Urena are guaranteed to receive a ring no matter who wins.

Kennedy and Urena both appeared in games for the Blue Jays and Dodgers during the 2025 season. While their time in the organizations was brief, the modern trend of awarding a ring to any player appearing in at least one game means that both journeymen will come out winners.

Kennedy appeared in 13 games this season while playing for three different teams. In addition to his two games for the Blue Jays and seven appearances in Dodger blue, he also suited up four times for the Philadelphia Phillies.

In Urena's case, his journey was even more nomadic. The pitcher was on five different major league rosters and appeared in a total of 19 games. In addition to Toronto and Los Angeles, he also popped up in games for the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, and Los Angeles Angels. He has played for a total of ten teams since the beginning of 2021.
