MLB.com released their first power rankings of hitters for the 2025 season, and a familiar face for Blue Jays fans finds himself in the Top 10.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. came in at number six.
While there are a wide-range of candidates, the top three offer few surprises, though the order of them could be up for debate.
Aaron Judge tops the list at number one, following his 58 home run season. Ohtani, coming off his record-setting 50-50 season sits at number two, while Juan Sotorounds out the podium.
Bobby Witt Jr.. is listed at number four. While this may surprise some, Witt had a break-out 2024 that included an AL batting title, silver slugger, and the single-season Royals WAR record.
Yordan Alvarez rounds out the top 5. If this feels to high, his career 166 OPS+, ranks third among active players behind only Judge and Mike Trout. He has also topped 30 home runs in four straight years.
With a resurgent 2024 season, Guerrero has cemented his place as one of the games most elite hitters. Although he's entering his walk year, if he can capitalize and continue his momentum from the second half of last year, he could rise even higher.
Jose Ramirez, Gunnar Henderson, Bryce Harper and Kyle Tucker round out the Top 10.
Other players that received votes include Mookie Betts, Elly de La Cruz, Freddie Freeman, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.
The Power Rankings will be updated throughout the season.
