Bowden Francis got the start for Toronto and finally gave the Blue Jays some length, going 6.2 innings, giving up three earned runs, with five strike outs and just one walk.
Down 3-0 in the fifth, the Blue Jays comeback began thanks to a two-run home run by Bo Bichette, his second of the year.
In the sixth, Addison Barger legged out a grounder to avoid the double play and brought home the Jays' third run of the evening, knotting the game at three.
The game stayed tied until the 8th inning thanks to another strong performance from Mason Fluharty, who picked up his third win of the season after 1.1 scoreless innings.
The Blue Jays and Mariners wrap up their series with an afternoon game on Sunday. Jose Urena will make his second start for the Blue Jays, while Bryce Miller gets the ball for Seattle. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10PM ET.
