The Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider had some rather complacent post game comments after being swept by the Tampa Bay Rays. Blue Jays fans want him to actually hold players accountable.

Schneider is known by the fan base for having a glass half full rather than half empty attitude towards his team, however fans are starting to get tired of the old 'the other team just played better than us today' or 'we have to play better and execute' speech. It's staring to feel like he has lost the room.

Has Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider become complacent?

Toronto not only got swept by Tampa over the weekend but did so in dramatic fashion as they lost 13-0 this afternoon and it looks like it did not really bother their manager too much.
Post game Schneider once again had nothing real to say, he stated that the team is better than that and he was disappointed with how they played but anyone who simply looked at the scoreboard knew that.
John Schneider was pretty direct post-game. He wasn't happy with "careless mistakes" like Clase getting picked off and the lineup seeing just four pitches one inning, forcing Bassitt right back out. "We didn't play up to our capabilities ... We're better than that." #BlueJays
Fans were decidedly not happy with this message from Schneider as he never seems to hold the players accountable nor does he ever seem to have a plan of action to turn things around.
I've seen enough of Schneider, he isn't a good manager. Players need a guy who holds them accountable, they were terrible for the last 3 games.
My God, it's clear this manager has no connection to the team, so the players just do whatever they want? You always have to go into games with a strategy. My suspicion was confirmed today.
Clearly the Blue Jays players need more from their manager especially in times like these.
Stating that the team needs to play better is simply not enough.
