Minor moves aplenty for the Blue Jays

Every time the Toronto Blue Jays make a major league roster move, it has an impact on their farm system. And while the Jays haven't had a ton of moves early on in the season, all levels of the minor leagues are dealing with promotions, demotions, and injuries of their own. Here's a look at a few.
A big one is
Jaden Rudd. The outfield prospect for Dunedin was placed on the 7-Day IL on April 18th. He joins left-fielder Alexis Hernandez as a member of Dunedin's walking wounded. The did get some good news on injury front, as outfielder Sam Shaw was activated from the injured list earlier today.
They also briefly had a major leaguer among them as Daulton Varsho played the first games of his rehab assignment in Florida.
Speaking of Varsho, he now vaults up to Buffalo to begin the next phase of his rehab and could re-join the big league club in time for their series against the Yankees.
The Bisons also made a number of moves. Given that Josh Walker, Dillon Tate, and Paxton Schultz are now all in the majors, Buffalo needed some reinforcements. LHP Jimmy Burnette along with RHP Anders Tollhurst were both summoned from Double-A New Hampshire and will now get a taste of Triple-A life.
Tollhurst in particular had some good outings for the Blue Jays during Spring Training. Both of them are clearly on the Blue Jays radar should the need for my arms arise.
Besides the promotions of Burnette and Tollhurst, there wasn't much on the transaction wire for the Fisher Cats, though they did recently activate Canadian catcher Nicholas Deschamps from the inactive list.
Such is life down on the farm.
