It appears that Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has suffered a setback while running the bases at Rogers Centre on the eve of the ALCS.

Earlier this afternoon, Ben Nicholson Smith of Sportsnet relayed that, per Jays manager John Schneider, Bichette hit against live pitching yesterday and ran the bases today. .
Schneider added that how Bichette responds to that uptick in activity will help to determine whether or not he's rostered for the ALCS.
Keegan Matheson of MLB.com expanded on that, noting that Schneider suggested the decision on Bichette would be one of the last ones they would make before rosters are announced tomorrow morning.

Bo Bichette has appeared to suffer a setback since earlier report and now return is uncertain

However, in a video taken by Sportsnet, the 27-year old shortstop is seen leading off from first base, taking off for second and grimacing after rounding the bag before pulling up.
He then walks over to third base where Blue Jays bench coach Don Mattingly, first base coach Mark Budzinski, medical director Andrew Pipkin and strength and conditioning coach Scott Weberg were overseeing his running and dropped to the turf.
Here's video footage of Bo Bichette appearing to aggravate his knee injury while running the bases today at Rogers Centre. Walked off gingerly and can be seen shaking his head in frustration.
The group conferred for a couple minutes before Bichette, visibly frustrated, walked off the field gingerly.
Keegan Matheson thinks Bo Bichette making the Blue Jays' ALCS roster tomorrow morning is still a long shot. 👀
Bichette's status is the key question facing the Blue Jays on the position-player side for the ALCS, but far from the only one related to the roster.
