The City of Toronto is going all in as the Maple Leafs move up game time.

Their game against the Detroit Red Wings, which was initially scheduled for 4pm has been moved up to 2pm to accommodate Game 2 of the ALCS which sees the Blue Jays play the Seattle Mariners. Team host Ryan Leslie also announced that the game will be shown live on the screens at Scotiabank Arena following the conclusion of the third period.

The Maple Leafs have done something similar once already this baseball post-season. The end of the Blue Jays series-clinching win against the New York Yankees, was shown at Scotiabank on Wednesday, with much of hockey sticking around to cheer on Canada's team.

Game 1 of the ALCS between the Blue Jays and Mariners set for Sunday

Game 1 of the ALCS starts at 8 pm ET/5pm PT on Sunday night on FOX. With the Leafs-Red Wings being moved up to 2pm, that should give fans plenty of time to watch three periods and have a quick break before switching to a baseball mindset.
Leslie knows that all of Toronto is excited.
We're excited about the Blue Jays and we want to cheer them on,""We know you do, too.
